Songs of the Season and Divine Illumination at Sarasota Center of Light

Each year, Sarasota Center of Light illuminates its healing garden with thousands of lights for the holiday season. Other illuminating and inspirational experiences talking place this month include the Songs of the Season and the Divine Light Service.

            On December 7, 7 p.m., Sarasota Center of Light presents “The Songs of the Season: A Benefit Concert” which features a range of performers, artists and musicians. The many genres performed will include jazz, contemporary, global and holiday favorites. This is a fundraiser for the center with a suggested love offering of $15, and no attendees will be turned away.

            Caroling in the Garden is also scheduled on December 15, 7 p.m. Musicians will sing carols for everyone to participate in. There will be refreshments and snacks to enjoy as well. Experience a sacred evening of connection to Spirit at the “Divine Light Service” on December 24, 7 p.m. You are invited to partake in the divinity and inspiration of this candlelit service. Those who attend will enjoy wonderful music, an inspirational talk and receive a Spirit message.

            Other events occurring in December include a compassionate support group for widows and widowers on December 13, and “Metaphysical Manifestation: Creating a NEW New Year” with Rev. Jim Toole on December 27. In addition, healing garden will be illuminated and open throughout December for the public to visit. Come and enjoy the peace, inspiration, energy and beauty of this sacred environment.
