Lucky Dragon Feng Shui Tip of the Month

by Christina Captain, DAOM, MSAOM, MSHN, MA

Lucky Dragon says:

Follow these tips for bringing more love into your life throughout 2018. Last month, we spoke about clearing negative energies from your space for a fresh new start. This month, we focus on increasing love energy with these feng shui tips.

  1. Clear out your clutter. These items are about the past and prevent you from experiencing a clear new present. By clearing out the clutter and organizing your space, especially in the bedroom, you’ll have a heightened ability to draw more love toward you.

  1. Use the power of twos. The bedroom space must have two night tables (they do not have to match) and lights on each of those tables. Think about this––if the side you sleep on has no light, then you are essentially in the dark” about your relationships to others

  1. Discard lonely or stormy art. Avoid artwork in the bedroom of singles or lonely people. Find artwork that features twosomes instead.  Similarly, avoid artwork of a stormy water scene, as this can emphasize rough seas in your relationships.

  1. Crank up the heat in your bed. Sheets that are white, bright green or even red will heat up your love life.  Add candles to your bedside table for an additional fire element.

  1. Create more room. If your closets are over-stuffed and can't fit anything else inside, then clear it out. To draw love in, you need to make space for it to enter. This is called creating a void. When we empty closets and drawers to rid ourselves of unused items, we make room for something new to flourish

Follow these tips and get ready––you’re in for a major, rapid life-change! Does feng shui excite you? Then stay tuned to this feng shui column for announcements about video blogs on how to feng shui your space for life.
