Arts and Culture Event at Selby Library

Friends of the Selby Public Library will host the second annual “Crystal Ball: A Cultural Friend Raiser” to celebrate the arts, culture, and cuisine of Sarasota on January 13, 2012 from 7pm - 10pm. Organizations and performers will promote their talents and familiarize new and seasoned patrons about the cultural beauty of Sarasota. Local theatres, opera, ballet, galleries, musicians, performers, hotels and restaurants will highlight and demonstrate their services and talents in the dramatic splendor of Selby Library’s rotunda in downtown Sarasota. The many venues will happen in tandem for the three-hour event.

Cost is $20 per person in advance and $25 at the door (tax-deductible), Friends of the Selby Public Library is a 501(c) (3) organization. The Friends help support Selby Library Programs, and all event proceeds will benefit Selby Library and the new Teen Center within the Library.
