David Young, Painted Raven and the Threshold Choir at Sarasota Center of Light

June will be a month of music with Grammy-nominated flutist David Young, contemporary Native American flute and world music duo Painted Raven, and The Threshold Choir performing at Sarasota Center of Light. Painted Raven will also be conducting flute and drum workshops.

On June 3, 7 p.m., Young’s concert will take place inside the sanctuary. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. On June 11, the Threshold Choir will perform their inspirational a cappella music at the 10:30 a.m. service. Those who attend will experience both uplifting and healing energy through their vocals.

Finally, on June 17, 7:30 p.m., Painted Raven, led by Annette Abbondanza in collaboration with Holly Harris, will be in concert inside the sanctuary. A love offering will be collected at this event. Then, on June 18, they will facilitate two workshops. Native American Flute will take place from 1:30–3 p.m., and the cost to attend is $20.
