MyGreenBuildings announced today that it has hired Phil Chmieleski to spearhead its continued growth in the luxury-home and commercial-building markets in Southwest Florida. Chmieleski, known for developing and building many of Sarasota’s most iconic waterfront homes, will report to Steve Ellis, who together with Grant Castilow founded MyGreenBuildings.
“While we have always focused on sustainability, inspired design and construction excellence, we have seen demand for our services continue to push toward the waterfront and the high-end market,” said Ellis. “Phil’s expertise in this arena coupled with his long-term involvement in the Sarasota business and cultural communities make this an ideal fit.” Chmieleski stated, “I have admired MyGreenBuildings’ commitment to pure architecture, their passion for excellence and outstanding reputation for many years. The company has flourished in spite of the significant slowdown caused by the recession. I look forward to the challenge of continuing and accelerating this growth.”
