G.T. Bray Park Shape Up Sarasota Boot Camp (SUSBC) has expanded to serve West Bradenton.
The class is a mix of games, relays, obstacle courses, and some good old fashioned calisthenics. At any given workout, campers may use resistance bands, medicine balls, dumbbells, stability balls and playground equipment.
“People love the sense of competition, the accountability, and the camaraderie that develops,” says director J.D. Doyle. “You’re always going to push it harder when you have an instructor in your face and a whole class of your peers watching you.”
“Boot Camp training is proven to burn more calories than any other type of training or class out there,” Doyle explained. “At SUSBC, you are going to get the fastest result in the least amount of time possible. Not to mention, we make fitness fun!”
Doyle offers a free one-week trial of the camp, as well as early morning and evening classes. Additionally, SUSBC has camps that meet at Heritage Harbor in Sarasota and in Lakewood Ranch.
