The third annual Pumpkin Festival will take place October 28-30, from noon to 10pm, at the Sarasota County Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd. The event is held in support of All Children’s Hospital, helping children withlife-threatening illnesses and their families.

The Festival offers families and children of all ages an opportunity to enjoy an affordable and fun-filled experience. More than 20,000 spectators are expected during the three-day event, with live music, hayrides, face painting, great food, animal rides and more. Pumpkin carving, a costume parade and pie-eating contest will add to the Festive atmosphere, along with a “Not So Scary” haunted house and safe trick-or-treating for tenderfoots.

The Grand Finale on Halloween night will include the lighting of the pumpkin tower of approximately 10,000 jack-o’-lanterns from our community and local schools. Perhaps even more spectacular, the event will raise thousands of dollars for a great cause. So carve your Jack-O-Lantern and take it to the Sarasota Pumpkin Festival with a $1 donation to All Children’s Hospital.

For additional details including a schedule of events, updated information about the festival along with vendor and sponsorship opportunities, visit the official festival website at sarasotapumpkinfestival.com or call 941-706-7605.
