Animal Sculptures for Homes, Offices and Public Places
Apr 03, 2012 09:23AM
Anne Andersson began creating wild animal and pet sculptures in the early 1990s. Her life-sized sculptures are handmade from sisal fibers derived from the agave plant, sculpted clay, and hand painted fired glass. Each stunningly lifelike piece reflects its own individual personality.
While her natural talent enables her to compose artwork of any species, Anne’s deepest assion is for wild cats. Her sculptures embody her dedication to conservation and species preservation, and pay tribute to these magnificent creatures.
Her work can be found in homes and galleries across the world. Her works include a permanent exhibit at Busch Gardens in Tampa, and several of her White Bengal Tigers, commissioned by Siegfried and Roy on display at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.
Anne resides and works in the beautiful waterfront Art Village in Gulfport, Florida. To contact Anne call Kenney DeCamp 941-366-5433 or visit AnneAndersson.com.
