Richard’s Foodporium Opening New Sarasota Location
Richard’s Foodporium, “a uniquely nostalgic shopping experience that provides a wide variety of natural, organic and specialty foods at affordable prices,” has announced the opening of a new location at the corner of Bee Ridge Road and Cattleman Road in Sarasota.
There are currently sixteen stores in Florida, and the new store will make the eighth in Sarasota County. Based in Sarasota, Richards Foodporium opened in 1979 and has focused on providing “natural and specialty products at affordable prices,” according to their website. Over the years, the chain has been recognized as a leading provider of top brands in Natural, Health, and Wellness products, as well as boutique and harder to find top-quality products and food.
Always looking to improve the communities they serve, Richard’s Foodporiums are known for being good neighbors and model citizens in the corporate world – they have even been awarded the title of “Best Independent Chain Retailer in the Nation.”
At each location, Richard’s Foodporium provides more than groceries; they provide a sense of well being and community based on healthy living. Wellness events and classes are frequently offered at their stores, and are also an important part of Richard Foodporium’s culture and charisma.
The new location is opening in early September.
