Free Yoga Class For New Locals

Professional level certified Kripalu Yoga teacher Gary Halperin is offering a free yoga class to all new, local students in October. Current students will get one free class with the purchase of a 9 or 10 class package - four mixed-levels group yoga classes are offered weekly. This is the perfect opportunity for a newcomer to yoga to try a class for free.

Yoga can improve your flexibility, range of motion, coordination, posture, concentration, sleep, digestion, strength, fitness, and breathing. Yoga can also help you reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and increase your peace of mind. Classes are Monday and Wednesday at 9:30 am, Tuesday at 6 pm, and Thursday at 5:30 pm.

Gary Halperin has been teaching yoga and meditation since 1994. In addition to his private and group teaching practice, he teaches guest and member classes at the Longboat Key Club and Resort. His current and past clients include the Sarasota Orchestra, the Ringling School of Art and Design, and Sarasota County employees. He is the author of “Feel Better Now...Meditation for Stress Reduction & Relaxation” and the creator of the “Feel Better Now Yoga” DVD.

Call to reserve your spot in a class. Space permitting, you may come to class without a reservation.
