Indian Festival Returns
The Sixth Annual Sarasota Indian Festival takes place at the Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd,January 25, 26, 27 from 9am-5pm Friday, 10am-6pm, Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday.
Experience the traditions and culture of the Native American people. Find handmade, one of a kind fine arts and crafts, paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, bead work and leather work, along with Native American food.
Matthew Horse and the Southern Horse drum will share traditional Native American drumming, singing and various styles of dance throughout the weekend. Chippa Wolf, historian and educator, will present a Native horse battle reenactment. Mark Barefoot, an award winning flute and drum maker, will be the guest entertainer.
