Taost Priest Presents Workshops at East West College


Master Chen, Taoist priest from Wudang, China, returns to the East West College of Natural Medicine, 3808 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, with four new workshops in February.
On Friday, February 22 from 7pm to 9pm, he will present Introduction to Feng Shui. Feng shui is an ancient art used for increasing wealth and prosperity, reducing stress, enhancing relationships and living in harmony. In this session you will learn property cleansing, lucky address numbers, feng shui remodeling, and using feng shui to sell a home and foreclosure impact.
Saturday, February 23 from 9am to 5pm, the session is Wudang Primordial Qigong, Part II. Primordial Qigong is considered a foundational form used by Taoist monks on Wu Dang Mountain. The class will cover an introduction to Qigong theory, health benefits of Qigong and internal chi movement. Learn to coordinate breath, movement and mind.
Later on Saturday, from 7pm to 9pm, learn Internal Meditation. Taoist philosophy focuses on meditation practices to cultivate a calm heart, healthy body and still mind. Learn a powerful healing meditation for rejuvenation and longevity.
And on Sunday, February 24, from 9am to 5pm, the topic is “The Master Within; Passion for Life.” Based on Master Chen’s recently released book, this workshop introduces the participant to Taoist philosophy which allows you to open your heart and connect to your own personal Master within. Learn tools and techniques to achieve acceptance and mastery of your emotions and to become a master at navigating the daily trials and tribulations of life.
