Become a Yoga Teacher at ReFlex Arts

ReFlex Arts director Ginny East believes that everyone should take Yoga Teacher Training. At the 200-hour level, students spend time exploring and finding their own voice as a yogi. Working through the program there are multiple opportunities to begin real internal transformation. In intention setting, students are encouraged to look at their life from the yogic perspective and evaluate how to create change as well as fulfillment.
While studying the yoga sutras, the practice of yoga begins to take root in everyday life, not just something to be practiced on the mat. Reiki level 1 is included in the course, beginning the journey into energy studies and the subtle body. This course works for those looking just to deepen their own practice and understanding of yoga, as well as for students interested in starting their teaching journey.
Included in the self-healing and self-exploration, the 200 hours also covers the essentials of teaching yoga: anatomy of the asanas, alignment and proper practice of asanas, teaching practicums, and introductions to teaching mediation and pranayama. The ReFlex team strives to create a program that will not only enhance your life but those around you as well. Yoga will most definitely change your life. The question is, “Are you ready?”
ReFlex offers multiple formats for the 200-hour program: Fall Weekend Intensive, the Daytime Course (one day a week), the Evening Program (two nights a week), and a Spring Intensive.
ReFlex’s new retreat center, Heartwood, is located just 5 miles off of Highway 75 on Route 64 in Bradenton. Classes will also be meeting at 6260 N. Lockwood Ridge Rd., Sarasota. For more information please contact Melina or Ginny at 941-359-9642.
