Learn to Play the Didgeridoo for Better Sleep
Do you snore or have sleep apnea? Normen Schindowski will offer a lecture with a workshop the following week on learning to play the Didgeridoo to help you sleep naturally.
The lecture will be held on May 9 from 7 – 9 p.m. The 10-hour workshop will be May 18 through June 1 from 5-7 p.m.
The Didgeridoo is being acclaimed as a tool that can reduce snoring and or sleep apnea. There are many scientific studies that demonstrate the effi cacy of how circular breathing, required to play the didgeridoo, strengthens the muscles in the back of the throat. This has been proven to be helpful in keeping the breathing passages clear and unobstructed. The vibration of sound also plays a part in opening the throat.
Normen Schindowski, is a sound practitioner and licensed massage therapist, practicing in Sarasota. With his unique approach to self-healing via sound, by using Didgeridoo, Tibetan Bowls, voice, breath and intention, he brings a high vibration of awareness and presence.
