As you rest comfortably on a yoga mat or in a chair, Certified Jin Shin Jyutsu® Practitioner and Self-Help Instructor, Michelle Giambra, LMT, guides you through sequences of simple hand placements on vital energy centers of your body. A maximum class size of five ensures a quiet, cozy, and intimate experience. Join us for one or more classes.
Widely known more than 3,000 years ago, Jin Shin Jyutsu was dramatically revived by Japanese Master Jiro Murai in 1912 after he cleared himself of a “terminal” illness. A unique healing art, Jin Shin Jyutsu is applied to the body through gentle touch and can be received from a trained practitioner or applied to one’s self. Master Murai’s student, Mary Burmeister, brought the knowledge of this ancient wisdom to America and wrote a series of self-help books with projects for daily health maintenance and for addressing energetic imbalances. You will experience one or more of the self-help projects from these books in each class.
