Save the date for the Heartwood Yoga Festival

On September 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Heartwood celebrates National Yoga Month (September) with an enriching yoga festival on the grounds. Over 17 experienced yoga teachers and guest presenters will offer wisdom and experience. With a full day of events, including over 10 outdoor yoga classes, specialty workshops in the yoga center, Kirtan around the fire ring, health and wellness lectures in the tent, a children's corner featuring youth yoga and games, guided meditations in the chakra garden, sutra talks, paddleboard yoga demonstrations, aerial yoga setups and demonstrations, and food and yoga vendors, there is something for everyone.

The festival connects and pays tribute to yogis from near and far, honoring the vast range of yoga styles we practice and respect today. Enjoy dynamic yoga out in nature, explore some of the fascinating specialty elements of a yoga practice, such as mudras, bandhas, pranayama, journaling, acu-yoga, yoga nidra, yoga history, yoga for the mind, mandalas, yoga therapy talks, and more. Get playful, meditate, sing, hoop, visit the children’s yoga playground, eat healthy, lift your voice in song, and make a day of exploring the vast endless magic of yoga at Heartwood.
The festival is a non-profit endeavor and all profits are allocated to All Faiths Food Bank and Healthy Start.

Location: Heartwood Retreat Center 17505 Waterline Rd, Bradenton. For more information, call 941-359-9642, email [email protected], or visit ReflexArts.com.
