Cat Depot Positively Purr-Fect Adoption Special for FIV-Positive and Cruelty Case Cats
Sep 01, 2014 03:05AM
Cat Depot announced a Positively Purr-fect adoption special for FIV-positive cats and cruelty case cats. In the first year of adoption, each cat will receive a free veterinary exam, rabies vaccine and dental cleaning.
“Adopters can be nervous about potential health problems, associated with adopting a cat from an animal cruelty case, or an FIV-positive (compromised immune system) cat. We know these deserving cats have the potential to live long and full lives. To support the adoption process, we are promoting Positively Purr-fect cats,” says Shelley Thayer, executive director. “We hope the offer of additional medical care will provide the boost they need to find a family and loving home.”
Cat Depot supports more than 130 cats and kittens on any given day and rescues more than 1,000 cats and kittens annually. Open seven days a week, Cat Depot’s mission is to save lives, find loving homes and provide the resources and education to improve the destiny of homeless cats.
Cat Depot, a nonprofit, 501(c) 3 no-kill, free-roaming facility, is recognized for its progressive design and commitment to helping homeless, abandoned and injured animals.
Cat Depot’s Supply and Gift Store specializes in top-brand wet and dry cat food, litter, treats and calming products. Open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Handicap accessible.
