Unity of Sarasota Presents Friendship Sunday

Unity of Sarasota’s Friendship Sunday is scheduled for September 14 at both the 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. services.

 

There will be an inspirational message from Rev. Elizabeth Thompson, uplifting music from the music and choir director Rob Satori and, most of all a welcoming and outgoing congregation. Children are encouraged to bring their friends too. There will be a special gift for each child, who brings a friend, as well as the friend.

 

Additionally, a new round of classes will begin in the fall, including a class on Prayer, Prosperity, the Unity Principles – a film-based class from Progressive Christianity titled “Living the Question.”  There are on-going classes, such as “Course in Miracles,” yoga and a book study group.

 

Unity of Sarasota also offers a pet loss support group for those, who have lost their pets. It is called Bentley’s House and meets the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. On every Wednesday beginning at 7:20 p.m., a candle lighting service is held.

Unity of Sarasota is a member of the Association of Unity Churches International, is part of the worldwide Unity movement and is affiliated with Unity School of Christianity, publisher of the Daily Word devotional magazine.
