CBS News: Could Gastric Bypass Hypnosis Help You Lose Weight Without Surgery?
Sep 01, 2014 03:05AM
Detroit native Barbara Cox is featured in a CBS News story after losing 100 pounds with Rena Greenberg's Gastric Bypass Hypnosis.
According to CBS, Cox says, “I was addicted to food.” The food addiction was taking its toll. At 63, Cox was diabetic, had asthma and kidney problems and had such severe knee pain that she was wheelchair-bound.
Since working with Rena Greenberg’s Gastric Bypass Hypnosis over the last year, Cox’s diabetes is gone, her triglycerides have been reduced from 1,500 to 159, and her weight is down 100 pounds.
Greenberg has been specializing in hypnosis for weight loss since 1990. Her program has been reviewed and sponsored in over 75 hospitals and in over 100 corporations, such as Walt Disney World and Home Depot.
In the gastric bypass hypnosis program, Greenberg is simulating the lap band surgery. Through this virtual surgery, the client feels like his/her stomach is smaller, but the risk and expense of surgery is avoided.
Though Greenberg works with people all over the world via phone and Skype, she has a local private practice in Sarasota and Bradenton.
