Yoga Transformation Course at ReFlex Arts/Heartwood Retreat Center
Sep 28, 2014 06:44PM
Between October 4 and February 14, ReFlex Arts is offering a yoga transformation course. The class meets for 18 Saturdays from 9:00-1:30. Each morning begins with a refreshing practice and garden meditation. (No meeting on Nov. 29 or Dec. 20 and 27, in respect of the holidays.)
Many students wish to further their own personal yoga journey, desiring to learn more than can be explained in an hour-long class. ReFlex Art’s 80-hour yoga transformation course is designed to lead students deep into the practice of yoga as a path to personal balance and positive change, without training to become an instructor, creating the type of sacred space needed to enrich your personal yoga practice in a fun, supportive community.
Beginning with the question, “What is yoga and how does it work?” this course will provide proper alignment instruction in postures, how to design a home practice, meditation and breathing techniques, conversations on the subtle body including chakra studies and meridians, as well as other yogic philosophy, such as nutrition and home wellness practices.
Each meeting begins with a yoga practice and garden meditation to enhance health and refresh the spirit, then moves on to include refreshments, conversations, lectures, journaling and art, intention setting and special workshops to inspire and guide each individual to embrace a yogic lifestyle. This training gets you in shape – mind, body and soul. Treat yourself to mornings designed to awaken your best self!
