Terri Josephson, owner of The Pilates Sanctuary in Englewood, recently announced the newest addition to their wellness family, Eileen Loh, a Pilates certified mat instructor and Yoga teacher.
Since the studio opened January 2009, it has grown from one instructor with one reformer in a small room, to a fully-equipped 2000 square foot studio, offering Pilates, yoga and other classes that focus on mind-body fitness. Josephson says the success of the studio is due to knowledgeable instructors and their focus on providing fitness programming, geared to each individual’s strengths, challenges and limitations.
Loh received her yoga certification from New York-based Into This World Teacher Training in 2008. She completed Neuroendocrine and Advanced Anatomy studies at The Breathing Project with Leslie Kaminoff and Amy Matthews, Restorative Yoga with Lisa Pumper at Yoga Fox in Delray, and Mat Pilates with Tatianna Gandolfo at Gold Coast Pilates in Setauket. Loh recently began advanced studies to complete her 500-hour training with Robin Appel at Always at Aum, Reiki with Linda Hacker, and Thai Yoga Massage with Micheal Sitzer.
