National Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Day October 24

Sep 28, 2014 07:50PM

On and around October 24, organizations and practitioners of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine hold events across the country to educate the public on the benefits of acupuncture and related techniques. On this day, we celebrate the advances Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine have made since being accepted into mainstream American healthcare.

Join Drs. Christina Captain and Courtney Spafford, as they open the doors of the Family Healing Center at 6 p.m., October 24. Both Captain and Spafford will be available during the free open-house to answer any questions you may have about how this medicine can help you find your best health.

Recently, acupuncture has a hot topic of conversation, as more people are finding relief and results through this centuries-old healthcare system. Each news story on acupuncture brings more calls with questions about treatments and efficacy.

The national and state associations of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine have made tireless efforts to educate the public, regarding recognition of a national Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine day. October 24 of each year is now recognized as AOM day, and it is commemorated by practitioners helping to educate the public on the awesome power of this treatment method, both on its own and in complement to conventional care.

This is the time to meet real experts on Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, feng shui, nutrition and more. Do not waste this opportunity to take a powerful step toward your best life.
