C.G. Jung Society of Sarasota Presents Michael Conforti Lectures
Jan 02, 2015 01:55PM
Two workshops by Michael Conforti, Ph.D., a Jungian analyst, author and founder/director of the Assisi Institute, Vermont, will be presented by the C.G. Jung Society of Sarasota. His work has resulted, not only in a training institute based on his discoveries, but also in the development of a new discipline: Archetypal Pattern Analysis. He lectures both nationally and internationally, and applies his insights as a sought-after consultant in multiple fields. Dr. Conforti is the author of Field, Form, and Fate: Patterns in Mind, Nature & Psyche, Threshold Experiences: The Archetype of Beginnings and the forth-coming Hidden Presence: Complexes, Possessions and Redemption.
On January 9 and 10, beginning at 9 a.m., he will present Echoes of Wisdom: Dreams and Archetypal Patterns. The dream speaks the language of the antique soul. It is here in the silence of conscious limitations that psyche and soul speak to us of another way. We need to learn about psyche and the eternal motifs, appearing in our dreams, if we hope to develop a relationship with the spirit and soul. Dream Patterning allows us to see the creative movement inherent within the psyche. We see the dream as the carrier of creativity and illuminating a way to cross from one archetypal domain to another.
The Saturday seminar examines how the symbols beckon and, through the presentation of eternal motifs, reveal the meaning and nature of life transitions. These may involve family, relationships, career and movement through the changing landscapes of our lives, as we work to see destiny realized, and the wisdom of the psyche brought to its fullest expression.
Registration for both the lecture and workshop is available online at CGJungSarasota.org or in person on the lecture and workshop day.
Location: Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Waldemere Auditorium, 1700 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.
