Jan 31, 2015 11:39PM
Meditation techniques and other strategies for coping with anxiety and pain will be offered on Fridays through February 27 from 10 a.m. to noon, by Connie Sommers.
Everyone has suffered from pain, but those who have been incapacitated by it know only too well the anxiety, depression and sense of isolation that comes along with chronic pain. Both support and education are needed in order to recapture the joy and fulfillment that makes life worthwhile. You will learn to use mindfulness and other meditation and relaxation practices that relieve pain and anxiety. Learn and share a variety of coping techniques and ways to bring back the life fulfillment you need – even if not quite the same as before.
Sommers is a certified professional coach, a retired counselor and educator who has spent decades in the helping professions. Cost is $20 per session on a sliding scale. Contact [email protected] or call 941-488 9481.
On February 17 from 7 to 8 p.m., learn nine Feng Shui secrets with Feng Shui Master Jami Lin. Discover the nine items that you probably have in your home and where to place them for greatest of everything possible in your life. Convert your home into a nurturing sanctuary for expanded bliss, deepened love and richer finances.
Jami Lin’s classes are fun and interactive, and she is a true Feng Shui master. Don't miss this rare opportunity to reach your greatest potential.
Cost is by donation to support the Center. Email [email protected] or call 941-276-8689 to register.
