Spring is in the air, and along with it comes all those sniffles, sneezes, coughs and so on. Yes, allergy season is here and in full swing.
Strengthening the body’s immune system will go a long way toward keeping those annoying itchy eyes, dull headaches and runny nose in check.
You can do so naturally with the following remedies:
(1) Drink green tea and chamomile tea, as they can help with balancing and strengthening the immune system.
(2) Take two to three thin slices of raw ginger root and boil in hot water for about 20 minutes; drink the water once or twice a day (the ginger root can be discarded).
(3) Eat plenty of pears (especially yellow Asian pears) and strawberries, as they benefit the lungs which, in turn, can strengthen the immune system.
These Chinese health gems are natural folk remedies used by native Chinese households for thousands of years. They work wonders naturally; try it and feel the difference for yourself!
