Elysian Fields Announces May Events

A class with James Wanless, Ph.D., entitled “Nature’s Wis­dom for Self-Sustainability” will be presented on May 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. The originating, prime mover of life, which may be called Spirit or God/dess, is embodied in every detail of Mother Earth; she has all the answers you need to know and follow. Wanless expands upon Mother Nature, and her green way is the living proof of sustainable wisdom. Looking to the Earth for guidance is the way forward. Cost is $25; space is limited and prepayment is required.

Wanless will also offer Voyager Tarot Readings on May 8 and 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 30 minutes for $75; 60 minutes for $135.

On May 14, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., join Nakoma Hawk for an informal drum circle for creating harmony, sharing energies and building community connection through drum rhythms. Bring your own drum or percussion instrument; some ad­ditional instruments will also be available. This gathering is offered to the first 10 people to pre-register. Love offerings are accepted.

A book signing of Love Calls by Kimberly Braun, followed by a lecture and tea is slated for May 27, at 3 p.m. Braun will share her hero’s journey into the mystery and challenges of meeting her mind and her heart. Her work is poignant, power­ful and poetic.

A class, “Creating with Crystals” with Margo Park and Tanya Bartow, will be held on May 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. Margo and Tanya will inspire and uplift partici­pants, using the amazing power of crystals. This fun-filled, informative class is a must for anyone serious about using the magical energy of crystals, both person­ally and environmentally. Prepayment of $25 is required. Seating is limited.
