Garden of the Heart Yoga offers Summer Studies, a summer special for students and teachers, and Beach Yoga.
The Summer Studies Program at Garden of the Heart is a six-week immersion program and a prerequisite for the 200-hour Teacher Training that begins September 2015. Summer Studies meets Monday through Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. Each day, participants will practice yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, explore anatomy, yoga philosophy, journaling and group discussions. Program participants will read ancient and modern texts on Yoga, and learn the ins and outs of alignment-based Hatha yoga. The program begins July 6, but students must register by June 15. It is open to all yoga students with at least three to six months of yoga experience who wish to deepen their practice.
Additionally, Garden of the Heart is offering a summer special for high school students, full time college students and full-time educators.
