Browse Unique Handmade Creations at the Downtown Sarasota Craft Festival

The thirteenth annual Downtown Sarasota Craft Festival is slated for May 7–8, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This two-day event, considered among the premier craft shows in Sarasota, will exhibit the work of 100 hand-selected artists and crafters across the country and feature an eclectic mix of handmade crafts, unique and affordable gift items, and functional art. All artists and crafters will be on-site throughout the festival’s entire duration, and a juried outdoor showcase will also take place.
This vast array of craft media will include folk art, pottery, handmade clothing, candles, quilts, handbags and accessories, plaster crafts, stained glass and mosaics, cork assemblage, painted wood, leather work and more. The prices of each item will range from $3 to $3,000. In addition, a Green Market will feature exotic live plants, savory dips, gourmet sauces and spices, kettle corn and body products.
This craft show be held in downtown Sarasota, from 5 Points Park to First Avenue and Central Avenue. The Downtown Sarasota Alliance will host this popular event, produced by American Craft Endeavors. Admission is free and open to the public.
