Sarasota Center of Light Heart-Centered Concert

Jan 31, 2017 04:40PM

As the New Year started, Sarasota Center of Light began its theme “A Year of Purpose” by transforming its 12-foot Christmas tree into a heart-centered symbol of love. Christmas ornaments were replaced with hearts containing inspirational messages and pay-it-forward requests.

Each Sunday, Rev. Jim Toole, gives heart-centered inspirational sermons. In addition, a movie night is scheduled for February 4 p.m., showing “Pay It Forward,’ and on February 5, Valentine’s Souper Sunday will be held after both the 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. services, where a variety of soups will be served. Medium twin brothers Al and Geoff Potts will offer inspirational talks and spirit messages at those same Sunday services.

This all leads up to just before Valentine’s Day when, on February 12, 6 p.m., Suzanne Geyer and the Sarasota Center of Light choir will present a “Heart-Centered Concert” in the sanctuary. Following this performance, the messages from the Heart-Centered Tree Will be given out to audience members, inspiring them to pay it forward. Come enjoy the love, joy and connection of this musical tribute to the heart.

Location: 852 S Tuttle Ave., Sarasota. Cost: love donation. For more information, call 941-953-6620, email [email protected] or visit SarasotaCenterOfLight.com.
