Mudras are dynamic finger and hand poses that have been used since ancient times as powerful tools to harmonize the flow of life energy in the body and to shift consciousness. On August 19, you can immerse yourself in a journey through eight finger mudras that are the birth of the hands-on healing art, Jin Shin Jyutsu.
Jiro Murai dramatically revived this ancient wisdom in 1912 in Japan when he cleared himself of a “terminal” illness while holding these finger poses. In this casual lecture and fun self-care playshop, you will learn how to hold each of the eight finger poses, understand the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual applications, identify which poses are most beneficial for you, experience a dynamic, profound guided practice of the eight mudras, receive helpful handouts and worksheets.
Michelle Giambra, LMT, Certified Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help Instructor and Practitioner facilitates this class. Giambra is the only trained practitioner of Jin Shin Jyutsu in the Sarasota area. She has nearly 20 years of experience with Jin Shin Jyutsu. Her services include private energy harmonizing sessions, self-care classes, and consultations for individuals, families and groups.
