Keep the Energy Flowing at Heart and Sole Organics

There is “vital energy” in the human body that helps to keep it functioning properly. When there is a congestion of energy in the body, this can cause bodily inefficiencies which lead to illness. Reflexology helps keep the energy flowing. Often this energy is referred to as “Qi.”

There are reflexes in the hands and feet that correspond to every organ, gland and body part down to a cellular level. These reflexes are like a circuit switch. A trained Reflexologist will utilize a particular technique by applying pressure with the thumbs and fingers to certain reflexes in the feet and hands that address specific body organs and glands to clear energy blockages.  Reflexology is beneficial in helping bodily ailments and improving overall health.

There are 10 specific zones in the feet and hands that correspond to the whole body. These zones run longitudinal all through the body. A Reflexologist can address certain reflexes in the feet that correspond directly to a certain organ or part of the body. If there is a blockage of energy flow in that particular area, there will also be a positive effect on all other parts of that particular zone. Many clients have stated they feel a warming or tingling sensation traveling through various zones when they experience a therapeutic foot reflexology session.

Reflexologists are trained to help balance the mind and body, sustaining a natural equilibrium, or “homeostasis,” that promotes relaxation, health and well-being. Cindy Heard, Certified Reflexologist, LMT, LE and owner of Heart and Sole Organics, has helped many clients feel better through reflexology. Other services offered are organic facial treatments and therapeutic bodywork massage.
