CROP Organic Juice Bar & Café Opens New Location

CROP Juice is opening a third location on Tourist Center Drive across from University Town Center. Since opening its first store in the Gulf Gate area of Sarasota in January 2014, CROP has been recognized among the Suncoast’s premier cold-pressed organic juice companies.

Founded by a former oncology nurse, CROP is best known for offering concentrated nutrient-dense leafy green juice mixed with fruit. More than 20 varieties are available on any given day. The juices are hand-crafted daily, and CROP has also recently introduced mylks, smoothies, overnight oats, desserts, energy bites and other food items. Vegetarian and vegan meals will soon be offered as well, including porridge for breakfast and collard green wraps or salads for lunch and dinner.

Mark Chait, executive director for leasing at Benderson Development—the company who developed this shopping center, explains why CROP is an ideal fit. “[CROP] is unique to the UTC collection of properties,” he says. “[The owners] are experienced operators, and they have a passion for their business. I think they have the best cold-pressed juice in greater Sarasota-Manatee. It’s cold-pressed every day, and when you want to put together juices, the staff is extremely knowledgeable.”

CROP will officially open on Tourist Center Drive on November 21, at 8 a.m. There will be a grand opening celebration after the New Year. CROP is also opening a downtown Sarasota location in the Ellis building lobby, at the corner of Orange Avenue and Main Street.

Location: 8211 Tourist Center Dr., Bradenton. Hours: Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 941-358-8182 or visit CropJuiceSRQ.com.
