First-Aid for Anxiety, Adversity, Health and Life Challenges

Empowered 2 Wellness Yoga Therapy invites you to participate in our summer program “First-Aid for Anxiety, Adversity, Health and Life Challenges.” This program will benefit participants by developing resiliency practices of mind-body self-regulation, stress reduction and health management.   

Module 1 will introduce mindfulness, breathing exercises, soft body movement and guided meditation to relax impulse and stress reactions, negative emotions and ongoing rumination. These self-induced therapeutic skills are a second line of defense at home and workplace to protect both the mind and body through awareness, focus, calm, and optimized neurological, cardiovascular, pulmonary and endocrine stabilization.     

With escalating rates of depression, anxiety, chronic pain, life-threatening diseases, medication dependence and rates of suicide, the public is invited to empower themselves and others with these natural antidotes recommended by clinical studies and the World Health Organization.  

Yoga Therapy’s tools reduce reactivity to immediate challenges and develop resilience and deep release of tension as a learned response to stress for full and ongoing health. You are also encouraged to register with someone to support your commitment to new and healthier habits.  The costs and benefits can then be shared.
