Intranasal Laser Therapy-Revolution in Blood Medicine

Intranasal laser and LED therapy have gained attention both in Western medicine and holistic modalities. This therapy stimulates blood capillaries in the nasal cavity, introducing therapeutic light into the body. When the low=intensity laser irradiates blood, the flexibility of red blood cells improves.

“Sticky Blood” is a condition where the red blood platelets clump together and make a person more likely to form clots in blood vessels. With nasal laser therapy, this condition is safely treated. With light therapy, the red blood cells separate from each other and receive oxygen across their entire surface area. Laser energy at 630-640 nanometers seems to be effective for non-ionizing irradiation of blood and vascular wall. Low-level laser therapy has been used clinically for over 30 years, mostly in Eastern Europe and Asia.

The FDA has also approved infrared therapy for everything from eliminating microbes and fungus to killing cancer cells. These are some areas that benefit and improve using laser nasal light therapy: cognitive performance, fighting free radicals, Alzheimer's symptoms, insomnia, Parkinson's, schizophrenia, migraine, stroke prevention and recovery, immune system boost, mood balancing and fatigue.
