World-Renowned Pianist Donates Concert

Internationally acclaimed Russian pianist Eleonora Lvov will present two concerts this month. The first, on January 6, is her annual fundraiser to benefit the Manatee Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. This is followed by a concert at Unitarian Church of Sarasota two weeks later on January 20. Both will start at 4 p.m.

A recording artist and winner of prestigious international competitions, Lvov performs widely as a soloist and with major orchestras, including command performances, around the world. A luminous, boldly emotive pianist with staggering technique, she emanates spirituality and ardent passion. Despite her global reputation, she is a firm believer in giving back to the community. She has donated concerts, piano lessons, lectures and her own recordings to charitable causes.

This started when, after her arrival in America, Lvov was asked to participate in radio-marathon fundraisers for Boston and Cleveland Orchestras. Since then, it has expanded into a broader spectrum of events. Dozens of associations, locally and internationally, use her incredible talent in their gala events, stirring audiences to standing ovations.

Since moving to Sarasota, she became actively involved in our community as well, playing numerous benefits for social and music organizations, scholarships for students and more. Her European concert tours, which often included Russia among other countries, were a mission of global peace, goodwill, cultural enrichment and spirituality. Come and experience uplifting and inspiring music played by a world-class pianist who believes that giving and expressing love, music and beauty can change the world.
