Gary Halperin Offers Beginner’s Yoga Series in February

Have you wanted to experience yoga but felt intimidated about joining a class at the health club or a yoga studio? Have you worried that, as a beginner, you would lag behind everyone else in the class? Professional level yoga teacher Gary Halperin specializes in making beginner’s yoga a comfortable and relaxed experience.   

“This is a perfect opportunity for a newcomer to yoga to take a class with other beginners and learn the basics. In four classes, you can learn everything you need to know to feel comfortable joining any ongoing class,” adds Halperin. “You will learn that anybody can do yoga. You do not need to be fit or flexible to begin.” These classes will take place on February 5, 12, 19 and 26, at 7 p.m., at Mandala Med Spa and Yoga Studio.   

Halperin is a Certified Professional Level Kripalu Yoga Teacher who has taught thousands of people to practice yoga. His clients have included guests and members of the Longboat Key Club and Resort, the Sarasota Orchestra, Ringling College, the region's top 10 income producing realtors and Sarasota County employees, He has taught workshops at Elite Health Medical Center, Rosemary Court Yoga and Yoga Libre Yoga Center. He is also the creator of the “Feel Better Now Yoga” DVD.
