Developed by Empowered 2 Wellness Yoga Therapy Sarasota, the Smart Living program of yoga therapy is like a hands-on app for an integrated approach to managing your whole life. Through social, mental, physical and soul-centered wellness activities, which are appropriately safe and encourage the better possible in everyone, Smart Living adaptively improves health and healing, teaches skills in mindfulness, movement and meditation, reduces unhealthy dependencies and reactions to stress, enhances relationships and happiness, and empowers strength, resiliency and recovery.
Starting this month, Empowered 2 Wellness Yoga Therapy will host weekly and monthly inspiration opportunities to keep you motivated such as a book and breakfast club, vegan cooking events, Smart Living workshops and mindful retreats.
In addition, IAYT-certified Yoga Therapist Paula Morris will teach Smart Living at OLLI’s Ringling College Museum Campus this summer in eight-week and half-day formats. Participants in her fall 2019 workshop enthusiastically acclaimed the benefits of learning “Mind-Body Practices for Healthier Living” and asked for more.
