Fairy Faire at Sarasota’s Payne Park

Mar 01, 2020 11:37AM ● By Janet Lindsay

It's springtime, and as the world awakens from its winter slumber, fairies come out to play. The Spirit University invites you to our annual Fairy Faire at the Payne Park Auditorium and Surrounding Grounds on April 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fairies are a source of fascination and wonder to children of all ages. From the mischievous fairy Puck in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream to the cheerful Tinkerbell in Peter Pan. The world of the fae has long been a part of our mythology and folklore. The magic of these stories remind us not to lose our inner child.

At the Spirit University, we want families to remember the mystery and magic of the natural world. At our fifth annual Fairy Faire, you will be able to attend mystical and informative lectures on nature, intuition, wellness and spirituality. Intuitive readers and mediums will be on-hand for you to receive a message. Creative artisans and festive vendors will entice you with jewelry, artwork, and natural health or beauty products.

In addition to the array of products, services, live performances and family entertainment, we will have a Fairy House contests for your little ones. Enter them to build a magical bungalow for their fairy friends. Our guests will vote on all submissions, and a winner will be announced at our Fairy Faire.

Cost: $5. For more information or to reserve a vendor booth, call 941-954-3200. To learn more about the fairy house contest, visit TheSpiritU.com/Resources/Fairy-House-Contest.
