Sarasota Center of Light will continue to offer services, classes and events online through programs like Facebook Live and Zoom until public guidelines change to allow public gatherings. In addition to “Sunday Celebrations,” 11 a.m. and “Healing, Connection and Meditation Celebrations” on Wednesdays, 7 p.m., the Center offers three classes on Facebook Live as public service presentations. 

On May 5, 7 p.m., “Re-Creating through Re-Intentioning” will be available. On May 16, 11 a.m., “Finding the Truth” Determining Your Personal Reality” will be available. In addition, on May 26, 7 p.m., “Experiencing Well-Being of Body, Mind and Spirit” will be available. All three classes will be presented by Rev. Jim Toole.  

Another new virtual offering is our “Create Your Own Class.” Just choose a topic, invite your friends, arrange a date and time, and Rev. Jim will create an online Zoom meeting for the class. There is a minimum number of students required at $10 for each participant, and all topics must be approved. 

Due to the suspension of in-person activities, we are seeking to balance our finances. Our campus has 15 buildings which we are maintaining in anticipation of your return. Our source of income is now dependent on contributions, so we humbly ask for your support. Donations can be submitted on our website’s donate page and by calling the office or mailing a check. All contributions are sincerely appreciated.
