Developing Healthier Habits for Life
Now is the time to start improving your health, especially if you are a young woman or birthing person who hopes to have a child in the future. The time to get healthier is now—not after you become pregnant or donate sperm.
Start by improving just one habit at a time—maybe give up soda or stop eating fast food. Then, do it again the next day. Breaking a habit requires persistence, not will-power. Do what you can and turn it into a consistent practice.
Next, replace this former habit with a healthier alternative. For example, if you do not currently meditate, start now. Begin with ten minutes a day—Devote space and time to your meditation practice on a daily basis. This one new habit will help you ditch the behaviors you need to release in order to be healthier.
