This month, Sarasota Center of Light welcomes two special guests from the UK, Nic Whitham and Steven Siu. Whitman and Sui will host a series of classes and workshops, held in the Chapel. All except for “Planchettes and Spirit (Ouija) Boards” will take place from 7–9 p.m. The cost to attend each of these special offerings is $30.

“Exploring Altered States” will take place on October 7. This class will introduce you to altered states, where a deeper sense of awareness, stillness, and connection is available.

“Trance Healing” will take place on October 8. This class will explore how trance healing differs from other forms of spiritual healing, as well as how the healer’s own state of consciousness can affect the overall experience.

“Planchettes and Spirit (Ouija) Boards” will take place on October 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. This class will expose you to the unique history of planchettes and the possible role of the subconscious mind, along with the question of who—or what—is actually moving it?

“How Good Is Your Intuition?” will take place on October 13. This class will help you answer questions such as, do you feel information? Do you have an inner knowing? And finally, does it arrive as a visual image, a mental thought, or a physical sensation?

“Automatic Writing” will take place on October 14. This class will teach you the various nuances between conscious writing and deeper forms of automatic expression. Bring a pen, a notebook, and a curious, open mind.

“Advanced Spiritual Healing” will take place on October 15. This class will delve into the relationship between a healer, a recipient, and the spirit world. This experience is for those who already have some healing experience and want to take their journey further.
