"Microcosm to Macrocosm" Art Opening
Featuring paintings by Florida artist Robert Koutny

Now on view at JahVa Studio + in South Pasadena is “Microcosm to Macrocosm”, an exhibition of paintings by Florida artist Robert Koutny, which explores our reality through a variety of changing perspectives. Using a scanning electron microscope for his inspiration, Koutny creates “Microscapes”, surreal inner visions of our world magnified hundreds of times. The dewdrops inside a flower become a colorful landscape of floating spheres. While other works, done in monochromatic black and white, explode in a hypnotic frenzy of dashes and dots reminiscent of galaxies or star maps. Robert Koutny is a resident of Bradenton, Florida, who teaches painting at the ArtCenter Manatee in Bradenton, and is also a professional graphic designer. More of his work can be seen at: https://www.robertkoutny.com. An Artist’s Opening Reception will be held at the studio on Saturday, January 30, from 4 to 6pm. JahVa Studio + is located at 6800 Gulfport Boulevard, Suite 205, South Pasadena, Florida 33707. For more information, contact 727-422-0629. Microcosm to Macrocosm runs through February.
