Discover Sarasota Tours offers a fascinating introduction to Sarasota’s psychic influences on its Psychic Sundays Tour, led by psychic and medium Michael Newton-Brown. Tourgoers will learn how Sarasota came to be known as a psychic and spiritual energy center, sometimes called “Sedona by the Sea.” On this tour, Newton-Brown will also explore the tools that psychics and mediums use, will and teach tourgoers about the history of the tarot.  

Newton-Brown’s first psychic experience came when he was just three years old, when he awakened one night to bid farewell to the spirit of his great-grandmother who had just passed over downstairs. Newton-Brown began to read tarot in 1970, then in 1975, he attended the Arthur Findlay College for the Advancement of Spiritualism and Psychic Sciences in Stansted, England. He has been an active medium and tarot reader ever since. 

During the tour, guests will also walk a labyrinth, stop at the Pixie Dust Metaphysical Shop on Main Street, experience a Sound Healing and Energy Clearing immersion at Unwind Studio with Kaylene McCaw, and enjoy a spirit gallery and mini tarot readings on the trolley. Up to four tourgoers can also book a 15-minute personal tarot reading with guide Newton-Brown at the cottage after the conclusion of each tour.
