Flobucha, Sarasota’s First Kombucha Bar, Just opened in Gulf Gate
Flobucha is a small Kombucha brewery and taproom that produces and serves premium raw kombucha, fermented to perfection.
Flobucha comes in six unique flavors that have been meticulously balanced over many months. It’s brewed with all-natural, organic ingredients, which are raw, unfiltered and never pasteurized. Introducing kombucha into your diet can enhance your overall health.
However, it's crucial that kombucha is made properly. Home brewed kombucha is traditionally raw and unfiltered, but can have adverse health effects caused by contamination or over-fermentation. Store-bought kombucha can also have its downsides as it's often under-fermented, contains sugar additives, or could be artificially enhanced in ways that harm the living nutrients and probiotics in the brew.
Flobucha combines the best of both worlds without the shortcomings. It is produced in a highly quality-controlled environment, but still uses traditional brewing methods to maintain the natural nutritious value and health benefits—and it just tastes so delicious.
“Our taproom is also a super fun hangout place,” says founder Florian Trinkwalder. As a sober venue, the Flobucha taproom is ideal for people who want to meet for a drink with their friends or socialize in a safe, non-toxic environment. There are also fun events like food pop-ups, open mics, live music and much more. Come experience it yourself. We are open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 3–6 p.m. We also deliver, and can be found at many local restaurants and businesses.
