Shine: Experience Expansion with the Center for Spiritual Living

April affords us the opportunity to transcend limited thoughts and behaviors through spiritual experience and expansion. Here at the Center for Spiritual Living Cultural Coast, we are thrilled to offer many new transcendent experiences, starting on April 1, with a concert from Rev. Dr. Melissa Phillippe and her wife Rev. Z Egloff, spoken word artist. They will also lead us in Chanting as Spiritual Practice on April 2, 11 a.m.

That same afternoon, from 12:20–2:45 p.m., renowned psychodramatist, psychotherapist, author and artist, Satya Winkelman, will present her Comedy IMPROV Playshop. This event will teach you how to have fun with spirituality. On April 9, Easter Sunday, Rev. Theresa will offer a metaphysical look at resurrection, as we continue to break open into greater possibilities. On April 16, we will dive into “Letting Go and Letting In,” then we’ll finish out the month with a message on “Power and Possibility.”

Over two years ago, Rev. Theresa was ordained by the Centers for Spiritual Living; however, COVID has postponed the celebration of this milestone until now. So join us on April 23, 11 a.m. for a sacred ritual, marking her commitment to the spiritual path. Then, from 1–5 p.m., dance to the funky sounds of Motown’s greatest bass player, Eddie Watkins Jr, along with Matthew Frost, Bob Fieberts and friends. Vibes will be lifted through the music, short Lightening Talks, food trucks, fire-dancers and more! Come curious and leave transformed. We also have sponsorship and vendor space available.

Location: Sarasota Garden Club, 1131 Blvd. of the Arts, Sarasota. For more information, email [email protected], visit CSLCulturalCoast.org or follow us on Facebook.
