This November, Sarasota Center of Light will offer a series of four “Tarot Tuesdays” classes with Carol Grasso. This month’s topic is, “Learn the 10 Elements of the Celtic Cross.” Classes will take place on November 3, 10, 17, and 24, from 6:30–8 p.m.

Both experienced students and beginners are welcome to attend. You can opt to take a few classes or participate in all of them. The cost to attend a class is $25, and no Tarot cards will need to be purchased.

Sarasota Center of Light will also celebrate our 77th anniversary on November 4. When it was started in 1949, Sarasota Center of Light was named “Shrine of the Master.” It was founded by Rev. Dorothy and Dr. Russell Flexer, a husband-and-wife team of Spiritualist ministers and mediums.

The Flexers’ goals and dreams for Shrine of the Master were to impart an awareness and understanding of spiritual truth that could be applied to one’s daily life. These clear and simple teachings can be used by anyone, regardless of their level of understanding or experience. The primary subjects taught here include Healing, Meditation, Spirit Communication, Mediumship Development, and Spiritual Law.

Please join us on November 8, as we commemorate our founders, Rev. Dorothy Flexer and Rev. Dr. Russell Flexer, after the service in Davis Hall.
